We’re back with another segment of our EXUBERANT EXPRESSION THEMED OPEN MIC on Saturday, March 15th!

March’s theme: “SPEAKING VOICES”

This event will be an opportunity for all the poets and comedians to showcase their art by doing what they do best: use their voice! This will also be the perfect opportunity for any singers, rappers, or vocalists of all kinds to share their favorite lyrics a cappella style or just chant if they want to!

CHALLENGE:  NO MUSIC OR INSTRUMENTALS!  The only instrument we encourage to bring is your voice.

PERFORMERS:
-This event is open to musicians, poets, & performers of all kinds.
-Performers: bring an original song, cover, chant, poem, stand-up set, skit, short story, choreography, magic trick or any special act that aligns with the theme!
-Only 20 spots available on a first-come, first-served basis.
-Please limit your performance to under 5 minutes to ensure everyone has a chance to perform.

Our feature for this showcase of vocals will be none other than the brilliant @bjam5000, a clever spoken word artist who shakes up the energy of every stage he brings his work to by delivering top-tier poetry that demonstrates the power of using our voice to display the complexity of our human experience.
