A “step outside the comfort zone” type of vibe encouraging artists to bring new material that may or may not yet be memorized OR step out of their element & approach their expression in a way that may be unfamiliar (like a poet playing an instrument or a choreographer singing a song for example)

EXUBERANT EXPRESSION THEMED OPEN MIC is returning to @dialogphx on Saturday, January 18th to start 2025 on a high note!

January’s theme: “FRESH BEGINNINGS”

Our feature for this event will be @kolideofficial , a dynamic duo of consisting of @luniakbeats & @ladyb6111 who bring a fresh sound of multiple genres with a modern twist. 

CHALLENGE: Prepare a new piece that shows a side of you no one else has seen from you before!

PERFORMERS: This event is open to musicians, poets, & performers of all kinds. Bring an original song, cover, chant, poem, stand-up set, skit, short story, choreography, magic trick or any special act that aligns with the theme! Only 20 spots available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please limit your performance to under 5 minutes to ensure everyone has a chance to perform.
