Building Bodies by Nick Shekerjian – Print 15
Building Bodies – Print 15 by Nick Shekerjian uses generative computation to explore architecture beyond the requirements of a functional building. An algorithm responding to points, density, height, curve length, and attractive and repulsive forces creates the isometric composition, producing a spatial form shaped by rules but not predetermined by them.
Why we like it
We like the tension between the rational process and the unexpected result. The drawing has the rigor of architectural documentation, yet the final form feels speculative and imaginative — almost like a structure from an unrealized future.
