Building Bodies by Nick Shekerjian – Print 4
Building Bodies – Print 4 by Nick Shekerjian uses computational rules to generate an architectural form that exists somewhere between drawing, structure and abstraction. Points, density, height, curve length, and attractive and repulsive forces guide the algorithm, allowing the composition to develop as an emergent three-dimensional body rather than a conventionally planned building.
Why we like it
We like how the work takes the visual language of architecture and loosens the rules. It rewards a closer look: what first appears highly controlled gradually reveals irregularity, rhythm and unexpected spatial relationships.
