Handmade from Oaxacan barro negro (black clay).  Featuring a raw, unglazed exterior and onyx glaze interior, the NAKÚ collection is a play of light and shadow. Its color derives from locally-sourced Oaxacan clay which is gathered and burnished by hand. Each piece is entirely handcrafted in a process that utilizes no molds, synthetic materials or dyes and takes over 20 days to complete.
